Industrial output (IIP) growth eases to 6.7% in September 2026

The IIP (base 2022-23=100) stood at 124.3 against 116.5 a year earlier. Manufacturing grew 7.6% with 17 of 23 industry groups in positive territory, electricity rose 11.2%, while mining contracted 6.2%. Among use-based groups, intermediate goods (12.2%) and capital goods (10.4%) grew fastest.
