VISTAR (Viksit Bharat Initiative for Statistical Transformation, Analytics & Research) aims to modernise India's official statistical system. It funds 59 surveys, support to States under SSS 2.0 and the 8th Economic Census, which will act as the baseline for a National Statistical Business Register.
